This calculation is to approximate technique, described in C. A. Balanis, Antenna Theory: Analysis and Design (3rd eds.), John Wiley & Sons, Hoboken, pp. 472-480. Main application of this technique is a resonant antennas with a relative small (up to a few tens ohm) JXa. Error of the calculation increases sharply at higher JXa.
The purpose of this window is in only approximate values, which can be used as a starting point for further fine tuning in the model or in the practice.
The window has a five main parts:
- Main menu.
- Groupbox Source.
- Groupbox Match unit.
- Groupbox Load.
- Control panel.
- File - common commands.
- Save save results in the file.
- Print print results.
- Exit close and retrn to main Tools window.
- Service
- Calculator window of the system calculator.
- Change unit choice of units of length:
- Meter meters.
- Millimeter millimeters.
- Feet feet.
- Feet-Imper Imperial system: feet and inch.
- Ihch inch.
- Help - help.
The parameters of the source displays in this area.
- Rout standard R.
- Frequency frequency.
The parameters of the antenna (without match) displays in this area. If you came to this window after the calculation of the antenna in the main window, the R and JX of the antenna will automatically substituted in this area.
- R active part of the antenna impedance.
- JX reactive part of the antenna impedance.
- VSWR VSWR of the antenna (without match).
Scheme and parameters of the match unit.
- In this area display match unit.
- On the image displayed calculated length of the shunt. If selected match impossible, the length is`t displayed.
- d1 is the diameter of the vibrator. Inserted automatically if you came here after calculation of the antenna.
- d2 is the diameter of the shunt. Specified by the user.
- S is the distance to the shunt. Specified by the user.
- The radiobuttons T and Gamma selected type of the match.
- Tune button start calculation.
