Tools > Stub match
This is a combination of two sections of line, a serial section and a stub section across the feedpoint. The stub section can be either shorted, an open stub, or have an L, or C across its end. The window has a five main parts:

- Main menu.
- Groupbox Source.
- Groupbox Matching section.
- Groupbox Load.
- Control panel.
- File - common commands.
- Save - save results in the file.
- Print - print results.
- Exit - close and return to main Tools window.
- Service
- Calculator On-screen calculator.
- Change unit for measurements of length:
- Meter meters.
- Millimetre millimetres.
- Feet feet.
- Feet-Imper Imperial system: feet and inch.
- Inch inch.
- Line edit enables the listed lines to be edited.
- Help - help.
This area displays the parameters of the source.

- Rout standard R.
- Frequency frequency.
- Power power.
- VSWR VSWR after matching section included.
The load (antenna) parameters are displayed in this area. Any antenna calculation performed in the main window will automatically update the R and jX values shown here.

- R real part of the load impedance.
- JX reactive part of the load impedance.
- Match loss losses in the match unit. This windows background colour changes if losses are high.
- Power active power in the load.
- VSWR VSWR of the load.
- Efficiency of the matching section. The Windows background colour changes if the efficiency is low.
This is a combination of two sections of line, a serial section and a stub section across the feedpoint. The stub section can be either shorted, an open stub, or have an L, or C across its end.
Circuit the matching unit with calculated values

- Buttons L, C, Stub S, Stub O select parallel element. If L or C selected, then quality factor Q needs to be selected for the drop down menu.
- Type of line - drop down menu provides a selection of standard line impedances.
- Overlaid on the image are the calculated values of physical length
and electrical values of L or C, and in the central area the values of:
- VSWR - measured at the beginning of the line.
- Zin - input impedance, measured at the beginning of the line (without parallel section).
- Loss - line loss, dB.
- The right of the parallel elements are displayed:
- L or Ρ - inductance or capacitance (if L or C).
- Z - impedance (without serial stub).
- S - complex (real + reactive) power.

- Tune button starts calculation.
- Set as match inserts calculated L or C series matching component into model of the antenna in the main window.
- Frequency plot opens frequency plot window.
